Spare a thought

Today, the massive supply of food for the teeming populace is simply enormous. At any given point of time a human being can locate a huge assortment of high quality foods from the fresh market, super market, mall and markets, order a desired dish at a local restaurant or more so gift or enjoy a bouquet of fresh flowers.

Somewhere in the corner of the world, crops are being planted, harvested and transported every month of the year so that there’s a wide selection of final produce, packaged foods, supply of raw materials and other ingredients that are available year round. Therefore, it’s quite easy to take this great quantity for granted and yet, there’s a highly intricate method that’s necessary to move the plants from the field to the dinner tables.

As in many countries and like any other industry, food production has become a major global business. Plump and bright red tomatoes in the produce section one month might have been grown in a field in India and the next month, in a greenhouse in Vietnam or Indonesia. Even if the tomatoes may not seem to be different from each other, that plant that have produced them might have been, since each has to match certain growing conditions.

Agriculture industries today are entirely customer friendly and the company that can do the best job are those who are closest to their customers. There are many seed companies with great research facilities in different locations, so that the breeders can mould plants for precise growing environmental conditions, local crop growing practices and other specific needs, one such seed company is the Namdhari Seeds Pvt. Ltd (NSPL). NSPL has always advanced scientifically and with available resources they have often tried various new advancements and shared knowledge whenever they are given with an opportunity.
